Wow ! So blogging regularly isn't so hard after all ! ... No, really it is. You need a lot of organisation to do it... So here is a little post on what I got at Urban Outfitters the other day, my mom took me shopping (her, her credit card and my voucher to be more exact) to celebrate the end of my GCSE controlled assessments. I was literally having panic attacks and nervous break downs every single night before a controlled assessment, and I'm finally done... Now, I can stress over information and ideas ! How amazing.
Anyway, on a happier note, here is my shopping madness ! (I'm hoping to make it a series or something, but I don't want to promise anything as I seem to break every single promise I make on this blog).
1. We were in line to pay when I saw this dress. It was literally love at first sight. I had to try it on in the queue over what I was already wearing... which I hate doing... If changing rooms have been invented, it's for a reason : People don't like trying things in front of strangers. Anyway, I think it fit... I immediately took it off. It's by Cooperative, a brand I discovered a little while ago at UO. I have their insect/bees/flies button shirt if you see what I am talking about... I really like and I wear really often so I'm hoping it will be the same with this dress... well at least in the spring or summer. BUT OF COURSE, IF SPRING DOESN'T SHOW UP IN LONDON, IT'S OBVIOUS I'M NOT GOING TO WEAR IT. SO SPRING, YOU BETTER SHO UP SOON.
2. I was wearing this jumper the very next day I got it. It's just so nice, soft and slouchy. It is probably the most comfortable hoodie I have. I am happy that I finally found a little trendy hoodie because... I've been out of my american-apparel-hoodie-phase for years now... and it's like when you've had too much of something, you can't even stand a little bit of that thing. So, on my way to recovery from my hoodie-shock and I have a feeling I'll wear this with anything !
3. I've been looking everywhere for a nice festival-ish crochet top, and I've finally foud one ! ooh, this reminds me that I should show you that crochet dress I got from Seoul ! scribbles in agenda to post something about trip to korea. Right, so, I was afraid that this tee would be too fitted like those crop tops that are too narrow and that I can never ear with anything. But it actually turned out pretty well cut. It's maybe not as wide as I was picturing a crochet top in my head, but I still love it... Now I'm just missing the sunny day to wear it!
4. When I learnt about Dia de los Muertos a good 5 years ago, I was fascinated with idea of honouring the lost ones by actually celebrating and partying hard (well... maybe not the partying hard part). So when I saw this sugar skull printed shirt, I just HAD to get it. It's a really nice soft and boxy tee a little big for me but I like its slouch. I found it in the sales section so it kinda helped me make my choice. No hesitation, threw it in the basket and off we go ! No really, UO tees are usually £28 which is so disproportionate for a simple tee-shirt, you know, so when I saw the £10 tag, I just couldn't resist.
5. Same thing with this raw-edges tank, I saw it from far away in the sales sections so I quickly went to grab my size. I just love to neon orange skulls and bones and I think the graphics are just harmonious somehow. So I got it for £10 instead of £25 and I was the happiest girl of the world !
6. Are you in love yet ? Are you jealous yet ? I think yes, this gorgeous blouse basically has everything I love on it. White, smooth blouse ? Check. Collar ? Check. Vintage cottony fabric ? Check. Flowery patterns ? Check. Studs ? Check. Neon ? Check. Neckties ? Check. Everything, my friend, everything. I already have like a thousand white blouses but this one is by far the best one... Or it's probably a tie between this one and my Acne silk blouse... I can't wait to wear this with a sweater, with skinnies, with a skirt, with shorts... with anything really. It's a Claudie Pierlot top which really surprised. I had no idea there was a Claudie Pierlot corner at UO... And I must say, I'm quite impressed !
You probably know this top already, I think more than 50 girls at my school have it but whatever, really. It's just too soft and nice. I love the shredding and I love the crossed back... It's perfectly cut and I is just slouchy enough. (You probably notice I use slouchy a lot) it's loose and comfortable and if having a tee everyone has eventually bothers me... I'll just wear it on holiday and weekends ! You can't have everything !
YES ! YES ! YES ! I finally got my creeeeepers. I was looking for creepers everywhere last year and this year and couldn't find any I liked. When i went to UO in december 2011, these were just in and cost a fortune. Like, no way I'm buying £85 shoes I'm going to soil the first day because of london dirt and rain... So I just left with empty hands hoping to find a similar cheaper pair. Well, my prayer's been heard ! I found these for £40 the other day and I just couldn't pass them. Yes, I know there a size too big... but guess what ? I had just invested in insoles !
So here's a last little bonus picture just for you ! Hope this regular blogging thing continues because I'm starting to like it !
